Here is a wonderful quilt that reflects teamwork and the spirit of Christmas. We were going through past pictures and found this quilt made by Linda Neal. She took the pattern Baltimore Christmas by Pearl Pereira and made some fun additions. The quilt was amazingly quilted by Jackie Brown. The border snowman design and the lace on the edges add to an already winning quilt pattern.

BUT Capt'n John had to laugh at the necklaces on the reindeer.

Take a look.

Inspired by a Claudia Clark Myers' design, Marilyn Badger created her very first Christmas quilt. Christmas At St. Andrews contains "6 yards of plaid fussy cut to match, lots of hand embroidery and embellishing." Winning Second Place Traditional at PIQF 2019, and Best of Show at Road to California 2020, Marilyn's quilt also features magnificent machine piecingmachine appliqué, and longarm quilting that's just too good to leave wrapped up on Christmas.

Christmas At St. Andrews by Marilyn Badger of St. George, Utah won Second Place Traditional at the Pacific International Quilt Festival (PIQF) 2019.

Here's an adorable Christmas Elf project from WeAllSew.com that you can make in time for the holidays. This little fellow was designed by Jessica Abbott, the creative force behind the Sewing Rabbit. Author of the Me Sew Crazy Blog, founder of SewSet.com, host of the GNO Blogger Get Together dinners, and creator of Five and Ten Designs. She's so busy, she must have a bunch of these little guys helping her out.

Polish Pottery was inspired by, what else, some polish pottery that Chieko Shiraishi came across that she wanted to turn into a quilt. Winning Second Place Traditional in the World Quilt Competition at PIQF 2019, "the appliquéd flowers are handcrafted crochet lace" and the quilt "has a new sense of technique by combining quilt and crocheted lace." With spectacular hand piecinghand appliqué, AND hand quilting, all brought together through it's yellow color scheme, it is quite a thing to see.

Polish Pottery by Chieko Shiraishi of Japan won Second Place Traditional in the World Quilt Competition at the Pacific International Quilt Festival (PIQF) 2019.
