Here are the 2 winners from our "Your 1st Quilt" Contest.  They were chosen at random from the quilts shown in our Show & Tell area.  (This weekend we will have a fun Smilebox for you.)  Each winner will choose a book of Alex's to be autographed for them.  Thank you all for the wonderful quilts and stories.  BUT, don't stop now.  Keep posting your first quilts and tell us YOUR story.

This is the American Folk Art Museum's first one-person exhibition highlighting the work of a contemporary quilt artist.  Paula Nadelstern (Episode 307) has achieved international recognition for her innovative and complex designs inspired by the bilateral symmetry of kaleidoscopic images.

We at TQS don't want you to miss out on the fun, so we will be sharing this special event with you.  We are traveling to New York to bring you the show as well as other fascinating stories from this exciting city.  Look for more details to come.

If you live in the New York area, be sure to visit this colorful exhibit.  To find more information about the American Folk Art Museum exhibit click here

You can still win an autographed book by Alex.  Upload a picture of your 1st quilt (or as close as you can get) and you are automatically entered into our contest.  The winner will be picked from the entries that have been uploaded by midnight Monday PST.

But, keep showing us your 1st quilts even after the contest ends.  It's Fun, sometimes funny, and always an inspiration.  Check out all the quilts by clicking on "Show & Tell" on the purple bar.  Be sure you are in "Show All" and not "BOM Only".

Ricky was invited to Japan and brought his camera along.  That means we were brought along too!  Here are some videos that showed the quilts and people of Japan.  Ricky's approach to certain foods in Japan is his own opinion and not necessarily the opinion of TQS or it's management.

Well.............I can tell you this - just for starters, some store and person is going to win a play date with me - Stay tuned for more details and be sure to ask your local Bernina dealer if they are going to join in the fun.
