Is your New's Resolution to make a Dear Jane quilt? Most of us have thought about giving it a try, but here's an artist who took it upon themselves to create their own original Dear Jane masterpiece.
To see more photos and learn how it was done, click on the quilt. When you are on the webshots page in the lower right it says "slideshow". This makes it easier to view.
Many TQS fans are also on Facebook and Facebook fans are playing Farmville. Many of the quilters playing farmville are living The Quilt Life by planting their crops, positioning their bales of hay, etc, to result in fun FarmVille quilt pattern. The Quilt Life, Ricky and Alex's new magazine, is having a FarmVille quilt challenge. If you are playing Farmville, this is your chance to participate in the TQL FarmVille Quilt Farm Challenge. It's easy to play and enter and costs nothing to submit a farm quilt for consideration. Hurry, the deadline is January 15, 2010. All the details and a .pdf submission information page on how to capture your farm quilt and submit it is located HERE. SO GET GROWING!
It's time for art class as Pam Holland introduces us to Australian art teacher and quilter, Suzanne Gummow. Be sure to write down the 3 P's. Following the 3 P's would be a great New Year's resolution.
