Welcome back quilt campers.  Do you need a quick and easy gift for a toddler?  You are sure to love this Make it Monday project that is a quilt AND a game.  TQS member Margo designed this quilt that also can be used to play the always popular bean bag game.  Large squares of age appropriate prints are the targets for the coordinating bean bags.  Margo has even included a 'toe the line' tube to keep things fair.  For the pattern visit our Projects page here.

Be sure to check out each week's project on the Projects page here.  Share your creative version in Show and Tell here.

We had a wonderful Ricky Tims Super Quilt Seminar in Rocklin, California with about 650 attending making it our second largest super quilt seminar ever! Whoo-hoo! Many thanks to the Foothills Quilters guild who enlisted volunteers and to Colleen Voet who started this ball rolling in 2006 and stuck with us for four years.

Everyone who attends the seminars attend all the sessions. There is no sewing, no class selection, just intense learning and a LOT of fun.

Thank you Bernina of America for the support and hat’s off to Meissner’s Sewing Center for providing a beautiful 830 for the stage.

Find upcoming seminars and information here.

Watch the video.

Read what others are saying. Check out these blogs from those who attended the Rocklin seminar.

Have you had a chance to visit the New Forum? Come help us test it out and make the TQS Forum your own.

Hover your mouse over the "Forum" on the menu bar and select "New Forum."

We are just testing our legs, but you will like the new set up.  You can send Private Messages to friends, add your signature, email someone directlyAND ADD A PICTURE! (Right now no bigger than 2mb, but we are working on that too.)

Most important, right at the top of the New Forum, you can ask your quilt questions.  Or you can answer quilt questions.  Need advice on your current quilt? Ask your question and show us a picture.  New to quilting?  There is a place for beginner questions.   And you never know who might be hanging around the Forum to answer your question, it could be Ricky; it might be Alex, it might even be John or Justin.

We are still working on the details, but get in there and go to your User Control Panel and see how to tailor the Forum to your needs.

We will start tutorials this week.

Have you been astounded, floored, or just loved one of the Quilt-of-the-Day Quilts? Well, let the quiltmaker know. Just click on the artist's name, in this case, Kcsartstudio13, and you will be sent to their profile.  From there you can view their other quilts, learn a little bit about them, and send them a message to tell them how much you love their quilt.   Just type your message in the message box and then click submit.

If you click on the QUILT GALLERY button, you will be taken to the TQS Member Quilt Gallery where an astounding array of over 15,000 quilts is there for your viewing pleasure.

And, if you still haven't added your quilts to the gallery, just click on Add a Quilt Now button while you are in the Gallery and you'll be taken to your profile, where you can upload pictures of your latest quilt.

It's simple and fun and we all want to see YOUR quilts!
