I have used the applipops and the one issue I have and never seen addressed is the small ridge. The metal piece is about 1/16 thick and the circles do not iron flat. I have to be careful on how I press them. Anyone else have this problem and how do you work around it?

Hello from snowy northeast PA. Thank you so much for this interesting exercise on appliqué. I’ve always been a raw edge person but now with your great instruction I’m loving finished edge. Thank you. I decrease my quilt size by three quarters. Simple math. Unfinished size of background is now 241/2” by 301/2” , then the border can be 3” squares. Good day!
