Hi Alex. I am enjoying the demo on the petal applique. I am wondering - since I have Quilters Select Print Piece and Fuse Lite, could I use that instead of the Cutaway?

Another really interesting take is the Sandra Mollon show, #2609, who combines spray starch with interfacing in a technique that I want to try out.

There was a TQS guest who showed this technique with silk -- I think it was actually Andrea Brokenshire in ep. 1706. Gonna go rewatch that one.

I usually cut around the applique with pinking sheers and that makes it turn easily

Used dryer sheets work well without any fusible.
