"After creating a trio of silk-screens," Susan Ennis and Ginny Eckley wanted to challenge themselves "to create three different quilts, using the three screens." Splash!, the second quilt in the series, "is created with the screens printed in black, on white fabric. Over the graphic pattern, vivid colors of paint appear to splashed over the quilt." Featured in the Art-Painted Surface category at Houston in 2016, Susan and Ginny utilized a number of techniques, including machine appliqué, embellishment, silk-screening, and painting to bring their colorful explosion to life.
