My first reaction: yuck! Look forward to color(s) of the year every year and like them all. Not this year. Gloomy grey combined with unsettling yellow after a year that has been both of those . . . just eew.

Yellow is one of my favorite colors and I used gray throughout the upstairs of my house. I think this is a lovely and classic combination.

I agree—meh. If it was going to be yellow I would have hoped for a more vibrant yelliw. And gray is great with lots of things, but not yellow IMO.

Don't like them at all. The lemon yellow is not warming, and the gray is plain depressing! The Kona blue is much more uplifting and cheering.

I just had my feed taken off!
I don't like the colors this year--gray is not a color and is so trendy. The mentality of the yellow and gray is patronizing--pl ease don't tell us how we feel or what we need. Even choosing the colors based on politics instead of the covid pademic is a big miss.

I am not crazy about this pick either. The gray is trendy and the "mentality" behind the colors is patronizing.
Please don't try to tell us what we need or how we feel--gray is not a color and this yellow is a cop out.
I'll go with the Kona blue any day!

Yes, Kona picked a nice blue. However, I don't think the boat was missed. Yellow is NOT my favourite colour however when blended with other colours it can make a big impression. Grey is a neutral and will go with just about anything, even other shades of grey. The two colours that Pantone chose don't HAVE to go together and that is the beauty of this art form. We have the choice to make whatever pattern in whatever colours we want!!
