It wouldn't be the theater without Broadway, and it wouldn't be Broadway without dancing. Leslie Rose's On Broadway, also from PIQF 2019, features "Rita, a ballerina who finally gets to dance on Broadway." Besides celebrating the theater, Leslie's quilt is also "a celebration of Day of the Dead". Using machine appliqué and sewing machine quilting, it lets us know the ones we lost "are not forgotten".
On Broadway by Leslie Rose of Half Moon Bay, California was featured in the Modern category at the Pacific International Quilt Festival (PIQF) 2019.
