Alex, when you block your quilt on Friday, please tell us why you don't do it on your design wall. After all, it has a grid on it already!

I know you said you'd be showing how you block a quilt on your carpeted floor. Have you ever thought to find a way to do it on a table instead of the floor? I use the back of my portable design wall, which is a piece of pink solid insulation. I lay it on my bed to pin the quilt to it and then stand it up and lean it against my desk. This way it takes up less space and I can use my bed. Make sure you use T pins that won't rust.
