My husband built his shop and said “You need a place for your work”. He built me a beautiful building next to the house. I have never been comfortable calling it a studio and started calling it the factory. But no that sounded like work so it is named after my stepmother who was a good companion to my father for many years. It is Grace’s Place.

You are absolutely amazing.
I have been spending my time learning from you during this quarantine. Your personality and screen presence are so uplifting.....y ou will go down in history as the woman who made women who love the art of needle
and thread feel connected....no t isolated during this historical period. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
One more thing....I am from WIsconsin and it is time for those DoorCounty Cherries.

I call my studio "my hole in the wall". It also serves as a very small office. I have it so crammed full my husband wonders if there's room for anything else. I think the room is a 10' x 10'.

Celebrating family supporters - when we were looking for new homes, hubby said, 'this one is best - room for your quilting/crafti ng'. And he's nearly done constructing the cabinets for all the pieces. Yay, hubby!
