Lahala Phelps - "Joy In The Journey" a Houston 2019 Quilt

Lahala Phelps spent each day for four years on her quilt, Joy In The Journey, and loved every minute of it. Inspired by Fraktur folk art by the Pennsylvania Dutch, the quilt was a culmination of hard work and determination that paid off.

Stunning quilt! But I realize I am from a different mindset, work everyday on a quilt? No. I am still working everyday to support my family, I quilt when I can. Admire as much as possible. This is a quilt to admire and for the maker to cherish.
