Inger Blood created Urban Wheels based on a photograph she manipulated using software on her iPad. From there, she let colorful batik fabrics take control, changing the color of quilting thread with every color change in the quilt...and there are quite a few.

Urban Wheels was featured in the Abstract, Small category at Houston 2019.

Your quilts are fabulous. The ideas in your head must run rampant. How long does it take you to finish a quilt like this multi colored one above?

I like both these abstract small quilts, however, wish
the dimensions were included. How small? Thanks, they are beautiful... :-)

My goodness, the patience this must have taken to change thread colors so many times. It's a beautiful, creative quilt.

The concept is incredible,. The idea of piecing on the black background gives it an awesome stain glass effect. The colors truly pop. The quilting with the color change gives it a completed perfect look. Thank you for sharing.
