Alex has a center of a block she wants to use as an example of how to do Foundation Paper Piecing. She was LIVE Friday, April 24, 2020 at 10am PST, 1pm EST, and 6pm London time. It's more fun live, but if you don't make it, just play the recording.

Watch the video to learn more about working with Roseberry Cottage Fat Quarter Bundle and the Sequoia Sampler Remix pattern.

your videos are great!! Alex your a down to earth person talk about everyday things that are happening in your world.. talk about cleaning!! OMG I find stuff I forgot about put it away thinking I will remember (yea right).like your method how you do paper piecing I am trying to find the block pattern you did were you cut out the triangles square in the middle. that is so cool and way different from what I learned you just cut pieces of fabric sew them down than cut. your method is way much better.

Alex, When I do paper piecing I use a small awl and poke holes in my pattern. It helps when you take the paper out plus gives me a pattern on the wrong side. I also baste the pattern between the 1/4inch seam and the edge of block pattern. Do not press your paper pieced patches with steam!
