I've noticed a lot of lint on the presser foot and above, where the lights are. So I clean that before disassembling and cleaning the lower parts.

Actually, that oil depot is now longer to be used. Talk to your Bernina dealer about that.

I have a 570 QE and like Trudy have to add 2-3 drops of oil into a red dot under the needle plate to the left of the needle. I would have liked to have this video when I first had my machine. Other videos did not cover this process as well.
