Sylvia Schaefer decided she'd had enough when everyone kept telling her dinosaurs were "just for boys". Take a look at this fabulous quilt she created with both improv and paper piecing. It brought a smile to our face and a lot of other little girls too at QuiltCon this year because "dinosaurs are for girls".

I saw this quilt at QuiltCon. I immediately took a picture and texted it to my daughter as my 2-yr old granddaughter LOVES dinosaurs! I love this quilt!

Huh. All the dinosaurs in the Jurassic Park movie were female! Great quilt, great message!

Love it. Finally something "out-of-the-box " for the girls. If/when I get a granddaughter I will definitely do something like this.

I love dinosaurs and yes they are for girls too. After all if there hadn't been girl dinos there wouldn't have been boys. LOVE< LOVE, LOVE this quilt.
