Laura Wasilowski Shows Us Her Studio and We Even Hear Her Sing!

During the Coronavirus outbreak, quilters are in their studios. Laura Wasilowski shares with Alex Anderson what she is doing and takes us all on a tour of her studio and dyeing workspace. Alex shows some of the small quilts she bought of Laura's, Laura displays some of her current work and even shares a song. FUN!

I just love Laura! I have taken several of her classes and have done some of her stitch-alongs. She is just as wonderful in person as she is online or on video.

Just one question, though. Why do you sound nice and clear, but all your guests sound like they're inside tin cans? Can you do anything to improve their sound quality?

Thanks to both of you for ending a very difficult day with a smile. My husband took a bad fall. After patching him up, making sure he ate so he could take his medicines, he became non-responsive before we could head to the urgent care for possible stitches. So all of a sudden I had to call 911. Thank God all was well at the end of the day as far as the fall -- stitches and a broken nose; however, he is still in the hospital to determine the cause of being non-responsive.

Our life has been a roller coaster since he was diagnosed with a small lung cancer in December, then chemo, lots of complications, and 3 trips to the hospital including today. This is the first day since December where I let this situation beat me down but both of you lifted me up. God bless both of you!

I've been so lucky to have met Laura in person, once at a major show in Virginia and also when she taught in the Northwest. Being with her on line is almost as good! Thanks, Quilt Show, you constantly amaze me.

I almost feel as if I know Laura, but have not had the pleasure of meeting her yet. However, I do have a quilt or two of hers that always bring a smile to me!
