A Pink Neon Angel hovers above Alex Anderson as she quilts. But that is not what she wanted. Here's the story told by Captain John and Alex during one of her LIVE videos. Bottom line, Capt'n John needs to up his giving game.

When my hubs was still my boyfriend, we had some kind of disagreement and he decided to motorcycle the 40 miles to my house and surprise me with a single red rose. This is about 42 years ago and I still have the rose, because unbeknownst to him when he bought it in haste, it was a plastic one!

At least it wasn’t a pot! That’s what my husband gave me for our first Christmas! After 49 years now, he’s learned!

Alex, love your horror when he told you the price!
Keep laughing, that’s what make marriages last. We have now been married for 53 years and he can still make me laugh.

What a terrific story! Fun how things like that kind of grow on you. Speaking of growing, I think this is the first time I’ve noticed that John doesn’t have his moustache any more. Cute.
