The pattern is so consistent when you look at it far off, amazeballs, and touching the heartstrings close up. What a lovely tribute to her mother, but also, showing how we are all connected within the circles of life.

I loved it at first glance. So intricate, so typically Japanese. I can’t even begin to think what I would do with all of those small strips of fabric. Very beautiful tribute to her mother.

At first glance it didn’t jump at me, but looking closer and considering all the planning and organization it became more and more impressive.

Love the way the placement of the strips makes a circle of stars.
