It was love at first sight for Judy Kriehn and her Australian Shepherd, Moe. Who wouldn't love those eyes? Moe Dog! won an Honorable Mention in the Animal Kingdom category at the Houston International Quilt Festival 2019.

True joy and tears of recognition of my own loss of a beloved friend. Thank you for a wonderful remembrance in fabric.

Amazing stitch work and a lovely quilt!
I was intrigued by the breed of this dog and looked it up. It seems it was bred and developed in the US, so I have no idea why it is called "Australian". I have never heard of this breed in Australia. Curious?

I love, love, love this quilt. I am always in awe at the ability of others to "paint" a portrait with fabric. Beautiful job and a beautiful tribute and memory.

We lost a wonderful Australian shepherd about 1 1/2 years ago. He was colored just like Moe, and the eyes are so like his. His name was Buddy and he also was a rescued dog. Your quilt is so beautiful and a great tribute to the love that our dogs give us.
