Remember the contests where you had to count the number of jelly beans in the jar? This amazing quilt, Barnum & Bailey, by Daisy Dodge and Angie Vertucci reminds us of that. We would sure like to know how many pieces are in this quilt.

Barnum & Bailey was part of the Large Quilts - 1st Time Entry exhibit at AQS QuiltWeek Paducah - Spring 2019.

Size of quilt probably 102 x 102 (square king?
) , so if every square inch has three pieces (I am looking at those ridiculous flying geese) , than that would be around 6,936.

I started counting at the corner until I got to the edge of the medallion border, then I stopped. 2710 pieces for just the corners.
