Congratulations to Teri Cherne for winning 1st Place Overall at Fall Paducah 2019 with her quilt, Finding Light in the Darkness. She always creates amazing designs and is an expert quilter. See her show:

While these are not my colors, this quilt is gorgeous and I love the addition of the extending the design outside of the square edge.
The title of the quilt also reaches out to me, as after loosing my husband of 47 years a few months ago I have been finding "light in the darkness" myself in small ways. And quilting has helped me with that as well as wonderful family and friends.
