Secret in the Garden is a dazzling wholecloth quilt from Kumiko Frydl which features achromatic colored threadwork using cotton, silk, and Sulky threads. We love the peony design that helps to create the mandala in the center of the quilt. The subtle detail near the binding adds additional intrigue. For a miniature quilt, there is a lot to study.
Secret in the Garden by Kumiko Frydl was on display as part of the Miniature Exhibit at the Houston International Quilt Festival 2018.
