The Great Wisconsin Quilt Show has posted the winner of their Best of Show Award winner. The machine quilting on this quilt is off the charts. One viewer said, "The back of the quilt was amazing as well." - Laurie Mielke

Take a look at Twisted Sister by Margaret Solomon Gunn from Gorham, Maine. Congratulations Margaret!

The quilt is beautiful and such intricate quilting and embellishing details. The back was also interesting - who puts crystals on the back of a quilt???? So many comments at the show that they felt that quilt could be reversible. Fantastic!

I did see this quilt in person at The Great Wisconsin Quilt Show. It IS super amazing! That solid background fabric is silk.

Such perfection is mind boggling. So beautiful and I can only imagine how much time it took. But it was worth it as this is one of the best quilts I have ever seen.

This is a spectacular quilt and very well executed. Because of so much machine quilting I expect that it is stiff. I have seen so many quilts quilted to the extreme that the drapability (if there is such a word) is gone. Where have all the hand quilters gone?

What can I say, the hours that went into that must have been tremendous. Not only were the hexagon areas were amazing but the quilting is out of this world.
