Cecilia Koppmann, from Buenos Aries, was a Rising Star in Houston in 2018. Her quilt, Student's Village, was created with the help of 70 young students in her class. At the end of the school year, she asked each one to bring her a little house which she could incorporate into a quilt. You'll love all the different houses and how they illustrate each child's personality.

Your quilt is just so charming and a wonderful way for students to see how they can each contribute. The quilt is a treasure.

Did the kids actually bring in fabric houses? What does she teach? How old are the students? The quilt is definitely a treasure! Perfect!

I loved the quilt but particularly loved the respect and care shown for each of her unique and special students. Each of the students will remember their 'sunshine' teacher and their happy days with her!
