Do you dance when you quilt? Irene Roderick does. She dances from the ironing board, to the cutting board, to the machine, and all around her sewing room. Her quilt, Dance in Celery, is based not only on an actual dance, but also on the art of improv quilting.

Dance in Celery won 2nd Place Improvisation at QuiltCon 2019.

I love your quilt. I too love dancing and quilting. My dance is Latvian folk dance and have just finished a quilt named Dance Abstraction. My design is on a grid and traces patterns made by the dancers. It will be on show at the Festival of Quilts in Uk in 3 weeks time.
