Today we continue our selection of quilts recently displayed at the Spring Paducah 2019 show featured as part of The 14th Quilt Nihon Exhibition. The exhibit is described as:

"Organized by the Japan Handicraft Instructors' Association, the Quilt Nihon Exhibition is one of the most prestigious international quilt contests in Japan. The exhibit features 42 quilts from the "Innovative Traditional" category, which will later be exhibited at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Art."

Great use of fabric in the roosters, the fabric cocks comb really looks like the cocks comb. Feathers are out of this world. Again great use of fabric prints

I love this quilt as well. There is a lot of beautiful interesting work out there.
Too bad the museums don’t have more quilt exhibits.

I love this quilt! Every time I look at it I see a detail I missed. I especially like how the light filters through the berries and your feathers are gorgeous!!!

Wow! There is so much detail throughout this quilt. I love the feathers and of course the fruit.
