I use the clear, double sided, plastic thread organizer/conta iners that I purchased at Joann stores online.
The divided spaces in them are perfect for holding individual pressure feet and I use the small adhesive paper labels on the top of the lid over each one with the foot number on it. Each side holds at least 20 pressure feet.
I also use a couple of the spots for my sewing machine needles. I mark the end of the needle containers for my sewing machine needles with the size of needle with a sharpie and stack them in there with the marked end up so I can easily find the size I need.
And I do also use the same containers for my spool thread. ;)

They work great, and I can still see what is inside so don't have to open it to figure out if that really is the foot, needle, or thread that I want to use.
