When Jenny K. Lyon, author of Free-Motion Quilting from Ordinary to Extraordinary, says your work has "beautiful quilting and a gorgeous design," you have already won, but Sherry Werum's quilt, My Modern May Basket, (62" x 62") also won 2nd Place in the Pacific International Quilt Festival's Mid-Century Modern Quilt Competition 2017.

 

We recently found the quilt on exhibit at AQS QuiltWeek Spring Paducah 2019 and were also struck by the exceptional quilting which repeats and enhances the motifs of the basket pieces inspired by the May Basket Liberty Cover 1927 by Frank Lloyd Wright.
