This beautiful appliqué quilt, Espalier by Joann Webb, with its arbor full of colorful birds is a treat for the eyes. We particularly love all of the details in the birds and the interesting border treatment, which is something we've never seen before.

I can't help but say this is the most beautiful quilt I've ever seen--so natural. The birds are perfect. I would love to see this quilt in person and of course hear Joann Webb speak about her work. I expect this isn't the only quilt she has made. Where does Joann live?

I agree this Awesome Quilt would have to be one of the most Exquisite Examples of Original Hand Work I have ever seen. It is certainly a Priceless Work of Art. 'Congratulation s' for your Dedication to every last Detail you have worked into it. It is just ever so Beautiful. I just Love it to bits. Jeanne. :-)

Amazing applique. Love the birds and all the intricate designs. The flowers too are just amazing. And the background is all hand quilting. I love applique also and really do love it.

This quilt is such a work of art. The detail of each bird is so life like you can almost hear them signing their love song. Wish I could have seen it in person but thanks to Ricky's photos those of us who couldn't attend get the chance to see it through his camera. Fantastic quilt !
