Here's what's happening at the National Quilt Museum. Betty Ford Smith (Click here to see one of Betty's quilts close up...this one weighs 30 lbs.) talks about her quilts, participants in the School Block Challenge are interviewed, and their is a segment regarding the HERstory exhibit.
thus it doesn't surprise me that she is so
patient and calm when she can sit for hours and create such beautiful masterpieces.
When she mentioned the lady who is 98 and still makes quilts.
It made me wish I could get women who are in their fifties to start making quilts.
All I hear is I'm too old
for that or else it's cheaper to buy a duvet.
