The 2019 Quilters' Survey

TQS is partnering with the 2019 Quilters' Survey. Your voice will be heard by industry leaders whose innovations inspire the newest creations in quilting. Be part of this year's survey for a chance to win one of several awesome prizes!

The survey itself may take up to 45 minutes to complete and closes on Sunday, February 10. Those who choose to participate will be prompted to enter the drawing upon completion of the survey. The first question of the survey also allows you to jump straight to the entry form and skip the survey altogether (but we hope you don’t, because we value your opinion). Survey was VERY long. Some questions left no room for answers that applied to me.

I thought more of the questions could have had an option for multiple answers as many things are variable like how many people attend a quilt show with you, and how much do you budget for. These can change from year to year. Otherwise I thought it was an interesting survey

I took it. I thought it was excessively long and focused mostly on traditional quilting. It needed some "none of the above" in some places. Also they asked questions in such a way that you knew they are thinking of patterns and kits...there are lots of us who don't use either. I don't mean to sound like a crab, but it's one of the things faced by quilters like me..we are often not given the options when taking a survey like this. There were a few places where it was included. Quilting is so inventive and contemporary now, and both the wonderful traditional styles and the differences involved in art quilting...incl uding pictorial, landscape, and other styles should be included. Nevertheless I would love to see the results. Sign me..not a crab. LOL

Just finished the survey. Wonderful questions! I enjoyed it very much and think it is much needed information for people in the quilting industry.

I started this but some questions were badly written and I found that I did not fit into any of the categories. So I gave up as there were no other options.
