We found Inger's quilt, United, quite intriguing in how the quilting design echoed the appliqué design. She free-motioned the background quilting as she didn't want any two of the designs to be alike. Read the sign to find out why she did this.
 
United was created using silk, cotton, and wool and was on display at the Houston International Quilt Festival as part of the Abstract, Small exhibition.

I am lucky to have seen Inger's incredible work in person on multiple occasions and to have taken one class from her. You NEED to have her on the show! A wonderful quilter and human!!

:D I have been following this quilt artist for many years. She is one of the most talented out there. Her talents are very diverse: she creates traditional, modern, art quilts and more. You should have her on your show!

I love the meaning of this quilt. The mixed up commotion of the elements convey all our differences and yet unity of people. Very nice and a heartwarming sentiment.
