If this quilt doesn't inspire you to go trick-or-treating (or at least head to the nearest 7-11) nothing will!

Snack Spread by Liz Piatt won Best Interpretation of Theme Innovative at the Pacific International Quilt Festival 2018. The theme was "That'll Be The Day When" ... You Finish the Sentence. We aren't exactly sure what Liz was thinking of when she made this "mouth-watering" quilt, but we want to be there when it's THAT DAY!

WOW - quick where is the nearest 7-11? I love this quilt - all the goodies I don't normally eat all puffed up and ready to gobble.

I think it's great! I can see little ones pretending to gobble up the treats and having fun! AND not getting sick from eating the real stuff. We need more pretend in the early years. :

Surely there had to be a better representative of interpretive quilt than this conglomeration of computer printed fabrics, on a barely constructed quilt....Very sad for a quilt show pick.....

Did she have to get permission from all those candy companies to use the logos?

Makes me hungry to look at it. But also awestruck to see the details  u

I DO see an actual quilt under the wrappers - I'm afraid I feel quite ill seeing all those unhealthy snack items and I'm not sure it's really called a quilt. Oh well, it's Halloween tonight so ...

Bonnie P, I’m sorry but when I see this I see art...not a Quilt! Should have 2 areas of this.. Quilts. And. Art on wall.
