Plain and Simple by Jodi Robinson won Best Mid-Century Modern at the Pacific International Quilt Festival 2018. It does not look that "simple" to us. The piecing is graphic and the quilting divine.

This was a beautiful quilt! It hung perfectly, was quilted with "Mid Century" style, and was outstanding!

Very graphic and great colors. The curves in the quilting take away from the starkness.

This is not my style, but I like this piece. The quilting says modern so nicely.

I love the graphic design of this quilt and the colors. The quilting with it's many curves and circles adds just the right amount of counterpoint to the blocks. So well done!
