Gilbert Muniz is know for creating "over the top" garments. This time, he was inspired by a movie, "Walk on the Wild Side," and the description of one of its characters. His garment, "Rumors," reflects the idea that sometimes rumors are blown out of proportion. In this case, you might ponder the proportions of the dress.

This outfit was part of an exhibit of his clothing at Houston 2017.

It astounds me that even with the explanation, some don't get it.

I would like to see more of the green garment next to this. The dress featured is fascinating. I agree with Verona. People should read the info above the picture to understand.

I'd feel pretty silly at the local Albertson's store in this fashion. I read the write-up, but the dress is still ugly.

I was lucky enough to see his exhibit in Houston last year! Thoroughly enjoyed everything there...so avant-garde!

Wow, I am speechless. The colors used make it look like a vintage dress. Very elegant.

A giant rosette hat would have been appropriate! Fantastical

The ability to translate an idea into your unique reality is a special gift. I think this would make a stunning wedding gown (minus the hips) for a very slender woman.

He's quite talented, I love the dress.

Very nice. I love the sense of motion from the ruffled top down to the train of rosettes.
