How does Helen Marie know it does not have three layers? I always thought if was a quilt if it had three layers and was quilted. What about many modern quilts that are meant for the wall--they seem to be expected now. think we have moved away from the old representation of quilts. We may not like it but there are different ways of seeing things. By the way, I personally like the old fashioned way of quilt representation, but still like to keep an open mind.

with grommets! It’s attached with grommets! And no it is not technically a quilt which needs three layers. It’s fiber art!

I agree with the fact that is isn't a quilt yes it's flat and square but I think it is wall art....their pushing the fact that they are considering a quilt...

It's probably not that hard. They wore chainmail gloves in days of old. You probably could put it on your bed as a covering and not be uncomfortable.

This is magnificent but I agree with D, even though it is made like a quilt in some place, it is a wall art piece, not a quilt. The Knights of old would have loved this to wrap themselves in for protection against weapons not warmth.
