Why do interesting videos have to be ruined by godawful Loud Horrible music?

I found this video interesting and enjoyed seeing the fashions after WWII. My concern is that the music over-powered the narrator's voice and made it very difficult to hear all that she was saying.

It's a beautiful excerpt of haute couture's history. However, I would have appreciated it even more if background music were a little less imposing, so that I could better hear the narrator. Thank you.
