It's Hope Yoder here, and I would like to help guide you through two BASIC principals for flawless crazy quilting. It's all about line angles and the center 5-sided piece. Remember the movie "Buzz Lightyear"? What was his famous line? If you guessed, "To INFINITY and beyond" you are correct.

Hi Margie, Anything goes for crazy quilting. I persoanllly like bright happy, high contrast colors. But, using tone-on-tones like whites/ivories make for a very elegant look.

I followed Hope's directions yesterday and made three blocks this way. Love it.

Wow that is the best instructions for crazy quilts I have seen. Have tried to make squares and it never made sense but knowing the 2 rules made it crystal clear.

I have been saving left over strips for years and now, look forward to making a crazy quilt. Would you recommend using fabric in the same tone or anything goes?

Thank you! I knew Crazy Quilting was easy but I did not know where to start. I also did not know about not cutting the tails until they became a seam allowance. Thanks for a great video - I cannot wait to see more of your videos.

Thank you!!

Thank you for bring up the sight lines. I thought I knew what I needed to make a crazy quilt block. I was wrong. I would have trimmed the tails before going on to the next piece. I learned a lot by watching your video so again thank you.
