Here's the latest from Ricky:

SPREAD THE NEWS! Please share this so everyone who has been concerned and praying for us gets this news.

We have confirmation that our new house, in the middle of the fire, has been unscathed! The house is saved! Celebrate with Justin and I. This is a glorious piece of information! When we can - we will share photos.

Our friends from Florida too - their house is saved.

Additional note from Ricky. They have had verbal confirmation that the house is standing. They are still waiting to see what condition it is in regarding smoke and fire damage.

Ricky has asked that you don't leave comments on this site. Click here to head on over to his Facebook page to leave a comment.

Here's a photo of the house prior to the fire.

My heart goes out to those who lost everything. Would you consider being a conduit, to received and donate quilts to those who were left with nothing?

hope you are still safe . It is a horrible tragedy happening to the west . I wish you the best .. I live in a high fire area in Montana .. Just s suggestion .. Get rid of the bushes by the house . Should have a bare area @ 15 to 20 ft around the house . Those bushes need to go !!

Which fire affected you guys? We are in the thick of the 416 fire, now kind of just smoldering. We were evacuated for a couple of weeks, so I sympathize with you both and your neighbors on how heart wrenching this is! Bless you and bless all the fire fighters & first responders!
