Oh gosh, this brings back memories! A few years back I attended the two day dye workshop that Ricky and Justin teach, in that very room. It was so much fun, they are both wonderful teachers. And using the mangle to iron the fabrics was a blast. I love fabric dyeing and still have and use the fabrics we made and the ones I bought that weekend. It's a lot of work but the joy of adding the colors, and of seeing what it all looks like when ironed makes it worth it. Thanks for the slide show!

Gorgeous fabrics! Fascinating to see the process. I could tell the Dyer had on his dyeing shirt from the blotch of dye on the front. I have a brown tee and old jeans I wear while dyeing fabric!
