Audrey Hepburn's Wedding Dress & Ensemble in Cleveland?

Looking to kill some time and trying to avoid bad weather, a TQS member decided to visit the Western Reserve Historical Society in Cleveland, Ohio. Imagine her surprise when a fascinating exhibit entitled, Wow Factor: 150 Years of Collecting Bold Clothes, just happened to be on display. And, what should be part of that exhibit, but Audrey Hepburn's Wedding Dress...she was married in Switzerland, what was it doing in Cleveland?

the lovely coat and dress shown in the two photos was Audrey's "wedding gown" for her marriage to Dr Andrea Dotti; this was her second marriage. For her first marriage to actor Mel Ferrer, she wore white and carried a small family prayer book. That wedding was the one in Switzerland

Well, that makes sense now. There was a coat on the mannequin not showing in the wedding pictures. I am glad we cleared that up. Sorry for the mistakes in the grammar, I was getting spell overs from my phone and then whenI'd go back to correct it. You read the message. I would have never guessed that she had a coat with it because there are no coats in any of the photo shoots.

I did Google it and found that this pink dress/coat ensemble was her wedding dress. She and Andrea Dotti were married in a Town Hall ceremony in Switzerland.

The funnel-necked dress is under the coat, which is collarless. You can see the ends of the sleeves of the dress peeking out of the coat sleeves.

The picture online of her dress has these sleeves and collar so there must have been a coat also with the ensemble.
