Did you guess that it was Marilyn Badger? This time it was the Pfaff Master Award for Machine Artistry at the International Quilt Festival in Houston 2019.

This quilt truly is a Supernova, and yes, it was made by Marilyn Badger and won 1st Place in "Wall Quilts: Movable Machine Quilted." Champagne Supernova is 78" x 78" and contains a multitude of techniques including:

Hand Appliqué, Machine Appliqué, Beading, Crystals, Embellishments, Hand Embroidery, Free-Motion Quilting, Fabric Painting, Paper Piecing, and Machine Piecing.

There is color and texture and hand stitching and ... take a look for yourself.
