I knew I could count on you for help! After tallying up the votes...my next project will be the Rainy Days Trio! Since spring is here, it will be the perfect project to  celebrate the season. I did love getting all the rationales for your choices...and laughed at a few of the jabs at my UFO list...but I am at peace with the choice and I may be asking for your help again some day.

And...

We are counting down to the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show which is a one day show with about 1400 quilts on the second Saturday in July. They start hanging the quilts at 7 AM and they come down at 4 PM! The week before the show, the Stitchin' Post organizes the Quilter's Affair which is 5 days of classes with instructors from around the globe. And, the day after the Quilt Show is Save It For Sunday, a wonderful event where a featured Quilter/Designer has their quilts hung in the forest around the 5 Pines Resort. This event includes a walking tour with the designer. This is one of my favorite events...seeing the quilts hanging in the forest is so beautiful. The week of Quilter's Affair there is also an program each evening to provide entertainment which keeps the quilters happy!

The reason I say "count down" is the teachers have to turn in their fabric postcards this week for the auction and also register their quilts for the Teacher's Tent. This means I have been a busy bee this past weekend! But, I am going to make it because all of you helped me by making the project decision for me!!!

I do hope I see some of you in Sisters at the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show!!!

I wish I could have gone to the show, too! I enjoyed your videos from there. Thanks for that. I would love to be considered for your book give-away (Seasons at Buttermilk Basin), if possible, that you mentioned in your Bee Hive Update May 2018 video. Thanks!

I'm looking forward to seeing how you "face" a quilt. The only thing I can think of is if you finish it like a pillow where you sew all around and turn it inside out. We will see if I am right! Love your Beehive. I don't really see the "chaos" because I'm used to that state in my living room/sewing room. I have around 2000 yards of fabric in white cabinets! Hey! I've been quilting since 1985. Don't judge. It just accumulates and for alot of that time I have been a hand sewer so I really can't use it up very fast unless I start using my machine for projects. My hands are developing neuropathy so I see my future with the machine very clearly now. I look forward to reading your blog, Anna! Jan
