What stitch length did you use for the fancy stitching in the white part of the egg? Please.

I have all the kits in this line so far, but have made none of them. I want to ask: Do I need to do all the kits as they are introduced due to explanation ofapplique patterns and stitch lengths, etc. I didn't see anything in the directions about this for the Easter Eggs. I don't want to have to do the older products first. For ex.: how did you applique around the eggs and which thread did you use. I got all the thread packets, too. Love them. Thanks for an answer--hope you know what I mean here.'
