Sandra Kaye made six hundred 1 1/2" plus signs for her award-winning improvisational quilt, Happy Dance. She enjoyed the process so much, she had a hard time stopping...thus, the 600 pluses.

Happy Dance won Best Machine Quilting Frameless, Needle Stationary at QuiltCon 2018.

Oh my goodness, I'm working on a small 1 1/2 " sqaure quilt now, and this reminds me of some of mine!
It was a challenge and I'm loving it!
I STILL want to WIN the GOLD!

I had to look at this quilt several times to figure out what it was. The piecing is amazing, love the pluses. The colors were so refreshing to add to the happiness.
