"Medallion Quilt" by Yoko Saito is Traditional, Japanese, and More...

Yoko Saito was featured in a special exhibit at Houston 2017. This is an early work and it is her interpretation of a Medallion quilt. It is fun, different, and suprisingly colorful.

Wonderful quilt and exquisite workmanship. Colors are very "southwest".

It's beautiful. I can't tell where it's hand appliquéd. Maybe the center medallion was appliquéd down after it was finished.
Her work is always amazing.
