Block 5, step 2, unit B needs to finish at 4.75". However that is impossible given the other cutting instructions. so if you have a 4.5" unit B increasing the size of the D triangles does fix the problem BUT ONLY if you sew D triangles on with an 1/8" seam allowance. Otherwise you lose all your points. The "correction" on the website didn't address the real problem. Why are we getting advice from someone who paper pieced the blocks? Didn't anyone test the blocks as per the actual instructions?
I've already made the first 6 blocks. The first 3 were pretty good at ending up 6 1/2" when finished, a wee bit of trimming Then it just got worse and worse no matter how hard I tried at being precise. No wonder blocks 5 and 6 are a ways off from being 6 1/2" - little smaller - I will look for any paper piecing directions I can find with the rest of the blocks.
In some versions of Adobe Reader, you can add a sticky note--in this case at the top of the page so you notice it right away. Copy and paste the information into that sticky note. You may need to resave the file with 'revised' at the end..
John Steele - THANK YOU for sharing this! I had no idea I had that capability with Adobe.
I print in very large letter on the title page of the specific BOM Month instructions that there is an Errata I have Stapled to back of the appropriate month's instructions.
I usually wait a week or two before getting started as I am working individually and not with another due to my remote area. Thank you Ladies
This is simple... save as a PDF and copy to IBoiks for Apple products or to files if you have a PC. Rename it Patches of Blue month 2 correction. Don’t “hope” it gets redone and screw up your quilt. It’s a nice member benefit from a top notch designer.

Idea: Make a note of this in Word and title it as you've titled your other Month 2 saves but with ERROR in caps so you will see it when you get to this block.
