Hi Alex, I just came by the First Time on this Website Seeing this zoom! Thanks for this Interview, You are so wright, When I have been able to see some quilts from the real modern Quilt Guild, they have realy blown me away too, I fully agree to your Description and words, Alex! Allthough I Love traditional quilts; I felt into love with the true modern quilts. And I do not mean the so called „modern quilts“ , which only use modern fabrics. I would have Loved to come to California in feb so so much, but what a pity, I am from Germany ... I am using my Talent for handcrafting techniques and teaching to Show german quilters how to do handquilting. quilting design and handpiecing . I also came from the amish inspired way of quilts. Have to Bus this Book, Happy quilting.
