Travel to the bottom of the ocean with Betty Busby in her quilt, The Abyss.  Mythical looking creatures light up, literally, in this eerie and enchanting quilt.

The Abyss was Viewer's Choice at the 2016 Taiwan International Quilt Exhibition.

Betty B. has a different perspective with her use of media in designing her quilts. She is from the area where I used to live, so was privileged to hear her talk and discuss how she creates her quilts. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Even though many of these creatures live at a depth out of a snorkeler's reach (have to use a submersible), I really think this wall hanging is very creative and well done. I love scuba diving and the many fish you find around coral reefs is a real education by itself.

Absolutely exquisite! How very creative. I love the Pacific and snorkeling even though I'm a mid-west gal. Wonderful!
